Balanced mixture of biochar and synthetic fertilizer increases seedling quality of Acacia mangium

Biochar is a charcoal-like substance produced by pyrolisis of organic material from agricultural and forestry wastes, that can improve soil substrates physical chemical properties in the field plant nurseries. Despite some studies showing advantages its use nurseries, other show biochar effects on seedling growth quality are variable, depends specific particular species response to it. The objective this study was evaluate, through analysis substrate measurements, effect Acacia mangium Willd wood residues production same seedlings. An experiment with complete factorial design, completely randomized arrangement, established, 9 treatments resulting combination A.
